There was a bit of online buzz about James Cameron's next Sci-Fi project, and have left without an abundance of information. But now we know a bit more, as MTV just caught up with the director on the red carpet at the London premiere of Avatar and Cameron says the plan is to remake the 1966 sci-fi classic Fantastic Voyage in 3-D, but he is only taking on the role of producer. The original film follows a group of scientists who are miniaturized and injected into another scientist's body to remove a blood clot in his brain to save his life and salvage secret information about miniaturization that only he knows. We at DreamingofDestin.com love all of Cameron's films and know this will be great as well. When this plays in Destin, we'll be there! Though it is just another new remake, this is still a high concept, futuristic story that can stand to have a contemporary re-telling.We wish Cameron was taking this on as director, but we're sure he'll find the right director for the job.

Sigourney Weaver did an interview with Channel 4 News in the UK for Avatar and ended up chatting a bit about what's going on with Ghostbusters 3. Weaver reveals a lot without saying much. 'I'm afraid to say Ghostbusters 3 is happening, I hope people are excited about that.' I certainly am! But everyone else may change their mind after they hear what else she says about it because she spills some beans...I don't know if I'm going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking 'would you read the script,'' Weaver explained. And apparently she did read the script, because she seems to know a lot about what happens in it. For example: 'I know that my little son Oscar, who was kidnapped from me in the second Ghostbusters movie, I think he has grown up to be a Ghostbuster.' We knew that they were planning to introduce a new generation of Ghostbusters, but we didn't know that Oscar was going to be one of them! Weaver goes on to give away more of the storyline, but we are not going to give any more away at this point... DreamingofDestin.com doesn't want to be a spoiler.

Warner Brothers enlists Justin Zackman, the writer of 'The Bucket List' to tell the story of a stray dog that major Brian Dennis resqued while on the front lines in Iraq. We've seen several news stories about Nubs and Brian Dennis and it is a very heartwarming story. We're really glad that these two got together and appreciate any servicemen that try to care for the animals in Iraq. We will definately be in line to see this special film.

The DreamingofDestin.com team are huge fans of Ryan Reynolds (He is so good he made Blade 3 watchable) so we were excited to hear that he will be playing Hal Jordan in the Green Lantern movie. The director, Martin Campbell is currently in pre-production in hopes of shooting sometime early next year. Reynolds has been preparing to play Hal Jordan, even doing costume fittings. Reynolds opens up about how excited he is. 'I think, seeing the prototypes for the Green Lantern costumes was a huge moment. It was a moment when I was like, 'This is happening, and it's happening in the right way.' That's a pretty cool, definitive moment for me.' We'll be first in line Ryan!
